Jacolby Satterwhite

<p>Jacolby Satterwhite (b. 1986, Columbia) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He received a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art (2008), and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania (2010). His work has been included in exhibitions at several prestigious institutions, including MoMA, New York; New Museum, New York; Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Portland Art Museum; Brooklyn Art Museum, New York; and Walker Art Center, Minneapolis.<br><br>Recent exhibitions include You're at home (solo), Pioneer Works, New York; New Order: Art and Technology in the Twenty-First Century (group), Museum of Modern Art, New York; Transamerica/n: Gender, Identity, Appearance Today (group), McNay Art Museum, San Antonio; This is Tomorrow (group), Whitechapel, London; and Blessed Avenue (solo), Gavin Brown’s Enterprise, New York.<br></p>
