The Afterlife Will Have Everything - Daata artists in Expo Sound

<a href="https://www.expochicago.com/" target="_blank">Expo Chicago</a> has announced the artists who will present work in its Expo Video, In/Situ, Expo Sound, and In/Situ Outside programs for its 2018 edition, which will take place from September 27 to 30. <a href="https://www.expochicago.com/" target="_blank">Expo Sound</a>, a showcase for audio-based art, is taking the title “The Afterlife Will Have Everything” and will showcase pieces that grapple with the role of speech in the face of increasingly advanced artificial intelligence. Works by various artists curated by Saskia Hubert for Daata Editions, an online platform for the sale of commissioned video, sound, and web art, will be paired with pieces by students at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, via Dr Giovanni Aloi, the SAIC Liaison.
