Rachel Maclean at the Zabludowicz Collection

Rachel Maclean’s exhibition including a new virtual reality work 'I’m Terribly Sorry' will be open September 20th – December 16th 2018 at the <a href="https://www.zabludowiczcollection.com/exhibitions/view/rachel-maclean" target="_blank">Zabludowicz Collection</a>. A composite artwork where Maclean's Let It Go series has been made into a longer form artwork featuring all her Daata commissioned films has been released online to coincide with the exhibition. Comprised of six videos, Let it Go is a sing-along video piece, exploring themes of class, aspiration and childhood. 6 wide-eyed pauper characters (all played by Maclean) mime to dialogue sourced from Youtube videos. The characters re-enact a series of covers by children of the Disney song Let it Go. These segments are spliced together with passionate confessions of hunger, rage, suffering and insecurity.
