<p>The Gutter is both a record store and a label for music made by artists. The store is placed inside David Risley Gallery and the label is managed by Risley as well. Within the records store you can buy music by artists such as Brian Eno, Charlie Roberts, Dinos Chapman, Escho Records, Jeremy Deller, Joseph Beuys, Vår etc. <br><br>The Gutter was launched as part of the exhibition&nbsp;This is our Art, This is our Music - an exhibition of Art by Musicians and Music By Artists,&nbsp;which included more than 100 art works by artists mainly known as musicians, including Alan Vega (Suicide), David Byrne (Talking Heads), Captain Beefheart (Don Von Vliet), Knud Odde (Sort Sol), James Cauty (KLF) and many others. The record store opened as part of the show with records by artists including Martin Kippenberger,&nbsp;Christian Marclay,&nbsp;Dexter Dalwood (The Cortinas),&nbsp;Kim Gordon, Mark Leckey,&nbsp;Meredith Monk, Mike Kelley, Nam June Paik,&nbsp;Poul Gernes, Ragnar Kjartansson, Raymond Pettibon, Red Krayola, Robert Crumb and the Cheap Suit Serenaders, Rodney Graham and many more.&nbsp;</p><p>Gutter Records commissioned Graham Dolphin, Jake Chapman, Joachim Koester & Stefan A. Pedersen to make new sound works for Daata Editions</p>
